Moab Area Trails

Gemini Bridges**
 

Difficulty: physically easy, technically easy
Trail Surface: fire road and some slickrock, Mileage: 13,  Elevation:
Elevation Gain:
Great for beginners, this ride is technically and physically easy but offers fantastic views, a chance to cross the "Gemini Bridges" arches, and a fun long descent.

Sovereign Trail**
 

Difficulty: Physically challenging, technically moderate/difficult
Trail Surface: singletrack and slickrock, Mileage: 16 with loop options, Elevation: 4300', Elevation Gain: 600'
The Sovereign Singletrack Trail is a new favorite in Moab. Combining dirt, open rock, ledges, climbs, and views, this trail has it all. It is not recommended for the beginner rider.

Slickrock Trail**
 
Difficulty: Physically difficult, technically difficult, Trail Surface: slickrock, slickrock and more slickrock! Mileage: 12, Elevation:  Elevation Gain:
The world famous Slickrock Trail is miles and miles of rollercoaster fun with incredible views of the La Sal Mts, and the Colorado River.
Porcupine Rim**
 

Difficulty: physically challenging, technically challenging, Trail Surface: ledges, slickrock, Mileage: 15+, Elevation: 6000', Elevation Gain: 1000' +

Amassa Back**
 

Difficulty: Physically challenging, technically moderate to difficult,
Trail Surface:
Ledgy 4WD Road, Mileage: 9, Elevation: 4000', Elevation Gain: 1400'
The Amassa Back trail ascends up onto an outcropping of rock surrounded on three sides by the ColoradoRiver. The trail is a rocky Jeep trail with ledges and drop-offs, and is for advanced riders.
 

Hurrah Pass**
 

Difficulty: physically and technically easy, Trail Surface: paved and dirt road, Mileage: up to 33 miles, Elevation: Elevation Gain:
An out and back ride that takes you past the Colorado River, petroglyphs, and high red cliff walls.

Klondike Bluffs**
 

Difficulty: Physically moderate technically easy/moderate
Trail Surface: Rocky 4wd road and slickrock, Mileage: 9.5 out and back
Elevation: 4700', Elevation Gain: 800'  A great intro to slickrock, Klondike Bluff Trail provides great experiences for both the beginner and skilled rider. A moderate climb, but technically easy with great spots to improve your skills.
